Kanyakumari Beach
Watch the sun rise and set from the breathtakingly beautiful beach. On a full moon day, you can see the moon and the sun at the same time here.
The sea is not suitable for swimming with very rough waves and rocks.
Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam)
Gandhi Memorial is built with very beautiful architectural techniques in Kanyakumari. It is in the coastal area. When Gandhi's ashes were brought
for cremation in Kanyakumari (1948), the Gandhi Memorial was erected on the pedestal where the urn was kept. On his birthday, October 2, at 12 noon,
the sun shines around the plinth and this is a remarkable feature.
Kumari Amman Temple
Kumari Amman is seen looking at the Kanyakumari beach. The goddess in this very beautiful temple is adorned with a diamond nose ring, it is said that
its light can be seen from far away.
Kamarajar Memorial
Kamarajar Memorial (kamarajar manimandapam) is located near Gandhi Memorial in Kanyakumari. In this mandapam, which has been built with great care, there
are famous photographs of Kamarajar. The hall was inaugurated on his birthday in 2000. Visitors are allowed from 7 am to 7 pm.
Vivekananda Rock Memorial
Vivekananda Mani Mandapam has been constructed in sea at a distance of about 210 meters from Kanyakumari beach. Boats are operated to visit this
beautifully installed Memorial. One of the special features of KanyaKumari is the Mani Mandapam, which is built on the rocky area where Swami Vivekananda
meditated during his lifetime.
Thiruvalluvar Statue
Another rock patch near the Vivekananda Mani Mandapam houses is an idol of Aiyan Thiruvalluvar. The Valluvar statue stands 97 feet tall on a 36 feet tall statue.
It is noted that it is set to show the 133 adhikarams of Thirukkural. There is a powerboat facility to reach Thiruvalluvar Statue.
View Tower and Telescope
To enjoy the beauty of Kanyakumari, you can enjoy everything through the telescope from the tower erected here. You can visit the tower from 3 AM to 7 PM.

Government Museum Kanyakumari
The Government Museum on the Coastal Road displays sculptures and artefacts that exemplify the sophistication and beauty of Tamil Nadu sculpture.
It is near to the Tamil Nadu Tourism Office.
Guganathaswamy Temple Kanyakumari
Guganathaswamy Temple is located near Kanyakumari Railway Station. This temple was established by the great emperor Rajaraja Cholan.
It is one of the famous places in Kanyakumari, which excels with intricate carvings.
Baywatch Theme Park Kanyakumari
This private amusement park is located on the road to Kovalam, a short distance from Kanyakumari Nagar Bus Stand. Like Black Thunder in Metuppalayam,

Mathoor Thottipalam
Thottipalam is built at Mathur, about 3 kilometers from Thiruvattaru, the tank fort is one kilometer long, feet 115 high and have 28 huge pillars.
Built in 1966, it boasts of being the tallest bridge in Asia. Water passes through the bridge from one part of the hill to another. There is a facility
to climb over the bridge and enjoy swimming. There is also a very beautiful park here. This is one of the must visit places for Kanyakumari visitors.
