Pasupatheeswarar Temple Karur
One of the famous seven Shiva temples, Pasupadeeswarar Temple is located in Karur. This temple has the most ancient hymns and is distinguished by its sculptures. The seven-tiered Rajagopuram is majestically built in this temple.

Mariamman Temple Karur
Mariamman Temple located in the main part of the Karur is very popular. The annual family festival in this temple is going on very smoothly and grantly.

Kalyana Venkattarasami Temple
The Kalyana Venkatramasamy Temple, situated on a small hill at Thanthoni, about 6 kilometers from Karur, is one of the most famous Vaishnava temples in the district. It has the specialty of South Tirupati.

Velayuthampalayam
Sri Pugazhimalai Balasubramaniaswamy temple on top of the small hill in Velayuthampalayam is very impressive.

Government Museum Karur
Government Museum is located on Old Dindigul Road at Karur. Archaeologists found coins, stones, and iron pieces belonging to Romans, Chera, Cholan, and Pandiyan Kingdoms, those coins were kept here safely.
